With urolithiasis. We prepare a decoction: pour a tablespoon of golden sedge herb with a glass of boiling water and cook over low heat for about 4-5 minutes. Remove the broth from the stove and leave for a couple of hours. Filter the product and take 2 tablespoons three times a day.

With chronic nephritis. To treat this disease, it is necessary to prepare the following preparation: pour 2 tablespoons of dry St. John's wort herb with half a liter of boiling water and cook in a water bath for 10 minutes. Remove the decoction from the heat, filter. They drink half a glass (100 ml) 4 times a day.

For rinsing the oral cavity and for relieving inflammation of various origins. It is necessary to steam a tablespoon of the grass of sedum in 200 ml of boiling water. After an hour, the tool is filtered and used externally.

For the treatment of purulent wounds, furunculosis, gum abscesses, angina and infectious diseases of the respiratory tract. Decoction for baths, which is indicated for skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, tuberculosis of the skin. It is necessary to add 50 g of dried raw materials to a bucket of water (10 l) and bring to a boil. Cook for a quarter of an hour, then leave at room temperature for 2 hours. We add the finished decoction to the bath - the temperature of the water in the bath should be about +38. 40 °C.

Tea. For 400 ml of cold water, add 2 teaspoons of the herb of golden sedge, put on fire and bring to a boil. We leave for a few minutes, filter if desired.

Contraindications

The plant is able to show quite powerful medicinal properties, but it also has certain contraindications. First of all, it concerns the period of pregnancy and breastfeeding. In addition, it is forbidden to take preparations of this plant for glomerulonephritis, both in acute and chronic form. Direct contraindications include allergic reactions and individual intolerance. The reception of any means of ordinary scrofula must be agreed with the attending physician. At the same time, it is always necessary to follow the prescribed dosage and in no case exceed the daily norm. In case of an overdose, the appearance of protein and blood in the urine is possible.
